Candy Boat

The Candy Boat was made by Mr. Wonka and his Oompa Loompas. The boat is made of a pink hard candy and resembles a Viking-style rowing boat, but with a seahorse head at the bow.

2005 film

After the Oompa Loompas perform the Augustus Gloop song, Wonka summons the Candy Boat, driven by many rows of Oompa Loompas. Wonka tells the kids not to lick the boat because then it will get sticky. The Oompa Loompas slowly row the boat farther down the Chocolate River, entering a dark tunnel. Wonka switches on the lights and the boat travels rapidly down a windy tunnel, passing strange rooms on either side. Finally, they reach the Inventing Room, where Wonka tells the Oompa Loompas to stop.

The Pink Candy Boat is very large and has a rowing team of Oompa Loompas.

Violet on the Boat

Violet travels on the boat twice in the 2005 film

The first time she travels with the tour group from the Chocolate Room to the Inventing Room. Throughout the ride blue light streams from the roof onto her, foreshadowing her fate of inflating into a blueberry

The second time is after Violets inflation, as a blueberry. Mr Wonka instructs the Oompa Loompas to roll her onto to the boat and take her to the Juicing Room to be juiced. The boat was not 10 feet in width, so the ride would've had to have been careful, less risk Violet falling into the Chocolate River

You first see the boat in one of Augustus's levels when he stops the river from flowing causing the boat to sit on the river bottom. After the river starts again you ride the boat to the Store Room 59 mini level.
