Princess Pondicherry is shown in a flashback of Grandpa Joe's which showcases Willy Wonka's genius.
The Indian princess wrote a letter to Mr. Wonka asking him to come to India and build a colossal palace made entirely out of chocolate.
However the arrogant royalty did not heed Wonka's warning that it would not last long and nearly drowned in the ruins of his chocolate palace.

Prince Pondicherry and his beautiful Princess lived in New Delhi, India.
The Prince was a great fan of both chocolate and the eccentric candy maker Willy Wonka.
So he messaged the chocolate creator to build him a palace out of chocolate.
But on a boiling hot day with a boiling sun the palace began to crumble.
It melted and collapsed upon them.
In rage Prince Pondicherry wrote an urgent telegram to Mr. Wonka requesting a new palace.
Prince Pondicherry is the direct descendent of Shah Zafar II the last king of India and is married to a local princess where they rule.
The Prince currently lives in New Delhi and being so rich and powerful can afford a many lot of things.
One of which being chocolate and sweets.
Being a great fan of these treats and wanting the best he could get out of it he wrote to Willy Wonka and asked him to build him a palace of chocolate.
