Television Chocolate is Willy Wonka's newest candy invention. He has created a giant camera that takes a Wonka Bar and teleports it to the TV. However any item that is sent shrinks to fit in the TV so Willy Wonka makes special giant bars to go in so they come out normal-sized.

Willy Wonka lets Mike pick a room to visit whilst in the Great Glass Elevator, and Mike picks the Television Room, where the Television Chocolate is being tested. After Willy Wonka displays a huge Wonka bar being transported onto a scene in 2001: A Space Odyssey (replacing the Monolith that appears in the scene), Mike decides to test it on himself, but he ends up being very tiny and the Oompa Loompas sing a song about why watching too much TV is bad.
